One of our recent clients, Garry, who owns commercial premises, had a tenant raise an issue about the ground sinking in the front of the property, next to his below-ground grease trap.

Garry got in touch with the team at Link Plumbing and explained his concerns.

One of our commercial experts attended the property and started investigating the situation. Our technician found that the existing grease trap, which was constructed from glass-reinforced concrete, had cracks and large holes, and this was letting water and the ground surrounding the trap enter the tank, resulting in the sinking of the ground around.

We explained our findings to Garry and provided a cost to replace and upsize the tank. We further provided a long-lasting poly tank as an option.

Garry was happy with the knowledge and the investigative work conducted, and he agreed to replace and upsize to future proof the tank’s capabilities.

The works were then carried out with minimal disruption to the current tenants. Garry and his tenant were happy with the outcome, and now the property can operate stress-free.
